SUCCESS STARTS WITH DIRECTION

  APPLICATION

After submitting a successful application through our Apply Now page, you will be contacted for a formal telephone interview. This is the final step in the application process, and upon a successful interview, you will receive a letter of acceptance.

A successful application will be granted based on the strength of the telephone interview and the applicant’s file review score.

Candidates

                What you need:

Our carefully designed screening process will seek out applicants who are passionate, curious, and observant in nature.

Prior experience in psychology is an asset, but not a requirement. We are looking for students from diverse backgrounds and we treat all applicants equally in the evaluation process.

A willingness to use your own behaviours as a case study, and a desire to take this knowledge into future interactions with clients and colleagues.

A passion for helping and understanding others, and the energy to pursue this into your internship and beyond.

Letter of intent: Why you want to join Javon Behavioural and what you hope to get out of the program.

             What you won't need:

Our typical applicant is inquisitive, ambitious, and passionate, but not necessarily a cookie cutter success story. Your marks don’t matter that much to us, but your willingness to work hard and chase your dreams does.

That being said, here’s some stuff we won’t need to see:

Your academic transcript. Whether you’re a straight-A student or a diligent D-er, your school marks aren’t as important to us as your interest in the inner workings of yourself and others and your innate observant nature.

Previous relevant experience, academic or otherwise. We believe that everyone has the power to change and better themselves, and that a story isn’t over til it’s over. If this is the start of a career change for you, even better.

FINANCIAL CONCESSION

If you are a parent of a child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, you may be exempt from paying the standard program tuition fee. Proper identification and diagnostic papers for your child are required. Please contact us for more info.
